It's a very nice Series three with a trailer made out of a Landrover and all set up for camping.

Gav's a busy boy of late,, he seems to have a lot on the go He hasn't got time for such desires as "another" LR.

So, the series III will be coming home soon, and my attention turns to thinking of how I will approach the resto on it.

Been thinking a lot about the engine. I've got a 2.6 waiting to be rebuilt and I'm thinking of ways to coax a little extra power from it as I'm thinking of putting some 3.54 diffs in it to improve on road drivability.

Anyone with experience on these engines got a few tips?

Moving forward - could even have it in the garage this weekend...

Still looking for anyone with knowledge of the 2.6 and how to squeeze a few extra HP from it - nothing stupid, but I just want it to have enough power so it can run on 3.54 diffs at 90 to 100KPH on the flat without the accelerator being buried to the floor. Would love to put a small turbo on it with a few punds boost, but that is out due to that being illegal to drive for my Son (at least for the time being). Thinking of building a fuel injection system for it.

Thoughts/ideas?
