Are there bits worth keeping from a Series 3 chassis?
I did see a similar thread relating to series 1 but a III chassis is a different bucket of rust.
Before it goes to the final resting place, disappears, bye bye etc, are there any parts worth the effort of cutting off a series 3 chassis? It is mostly good but has quite a bit of cancer on the various joins and the bulkhead is cactus. I will try and cut off the rear crossmember as it is a super heavy duty homemade one with towbar and recovery points, might be useable or saleable, same goes for the remoavble gearbox crossmember, but what about other parts (outriggers etc) as most of these can now be sourced new? Are any of these worth the time and agravation to cut off with my measly 4 inch grinder?
