Hello again - thanks for the response.

The part that I am seeking is the seat cushion/base for the middle seat in a Series 3 single cab. I understand that this is slightly narrower than the two outer seat bases. My truck has the other 5 parts (3 backs and 2 outer bases).

I am planning to get the whole lot re-upholstered once I have the complete set, so the main requirement is that the base be reasonably sound with no great splits, divots etc.

The seat base I am after is the lower middle one of a Series seat set similar to this:



This was taken off a UK parts catalogue and the actual base might not be quite that narrow - my truck was Australian assembled, so had whatever was used by Leyland here in 1975.

If we can find someone going from SA to QLD, I have a complete set you can have nice and cheap. 3 seats and backs.
I won't be using them in my S3 any more, tan leather, a little tatty, but you did mention a reupholstery job so that may suit.

If you can't find one closer I can probably find one (that will need reupholstering including foam). It will be Series 2/2a not 3 but these are interchangeable. Same problem that I am a fair way away. I would be surprised if you cannot find one closer though.

Thanks also for the kind offer - I will keep looking around locally for a while.

Hopefully, something will turn up before I have to start searching too far interstate.
