Hi Hugh,
I am interested, as I have no documentation on them at all-so a scan of the operating instructions and the Bushdriver article would be fantastic!
G'day
I have some information on the McNamara Diff Lock system. It includes a sales receipt for $425 for the supply of one only diff strengthening kit (Series 2) complete with axles and drive flanges dated 21/12/81. There is also the operating instructions and an article from 'Bushdriver' magazine. The article lists the price of the kit for the series 3 as $257. I can scan them if anyone is interested.
Cheers Hugh

Pfillery, is this the one that ended on fleabay late last night?
Yep, thats the one. Everyone seemed mad keen on it for the diff according to the seller, I was after some of the other bits but it came with a rebuilt 5000km ago holden blue 202 (the guy is an engine reconditioner) but not yet sure of condition, plus a second gearbox in the back with an overdrive.
I still have the instruction sheet from mine. Geoff McNamara stopped making them for Series Rover diffs well ahead of the Salisbury locker as the Series ( Rover) diff would strip the crownwheel gears if there was any weakness or sudden shock load - ask me how I know.. It fails to mention there is a blanking nut that you remove before inserting the extractor bolt. IE when locked ( with the extractor bolt removed) you fit the blanking nut to prevent mud ingress. I think I have spares of both somewhere in the garage.
