Repainting aluminium Landrover badge - best way?

I painted the whole thing and buffed back the high areas, works great.

That's a fantastic job you've done there. Looks like new.

Same technique works for rocker covers too.

I polished mine then hand painted it..It still needs a clean up & the outer lip painted..

Hi mate, I know this is from a while ago, but thought I would ask anyway.

Where did you used to find these for $15? The only grille badges I can find are $50+ not including shipping.
