The truck drives really well - was able to spin all wheels on take-off and lock all the brakes up on stopping .

Steering was a bit heavy but putting some air in the tyres made it a bit better. Speedo reads a bit fast due to the tyres having a bit less diameter than standard but the error at cruising speed is now known.

Once it is registered just a few fine tuning issues with the holly (richens up under load).

The gearbox is nice and tight, it is quiet inside but John needs to sit in the back to reduce the squeak for the rear suspension.

I put the new rear shocks in it today and I think that has made a difference. Either the new shocks or the new mounts - either way, it appears to be a bit quieter back there.

Picked up another UVP today so I can drive it to the testing station. I have found there is an addendum to the UVP rules - if the testing station has stamped FAIL on the papers, you can pay $50.80 for a weeks driving in ACT - er - road testing...

I do not think so - have you seen the size of Garrycol?

The Land Rover was perfectly balanced.
