I'm sure it will - you have a weight advantage for a start - both in vehicle weight and driver weight !
My Stage1 is crying out for a dirty weekend, so if you and Tim do a Stage1 drive, I'll clean off the cobwebs and bring it along. Also know another Stage1 in the area that might be interested.

The vehicle developed a nasty habit of not wanting to go after I gave it the first full tank.
We suspected dirt in the fuel tank/line/filter/carby and I have been on a mission replacing filters (why, for goodness sakes, would ANYONE put four freaking fuel filters on a vehicle?) and cleaning the carb - even purchased a new fuel pump.
Well, today it stopped completely - no go at all. After some poking around it started again and I suspected the really low price (but new) coil I had put in a few months ago. After getting it home and ringing my guru I had another look and discovered that the spade connector that is on the wire that connects the coil to the distributor was very loose. VERY loose.
So I cut it off and replaced it with a ring connector and a good test drive indicated that the problem was fixed.
Another problem I was faced with was an inaccurate fuel gauge. Tests indicated that the problem was at the sender end so I replaced the sender. Same problem. I could fill the tank and the gauge would go to half. Sometimes, on the way home, a bump in the road and the needle would move to full. Next morning it would be at half. More worryingly, when it hovered near empty it could be nearly empty or nearly half.
So I looked and measured - and my guru and I reckon that the float on the sender was catching on the edge of the tank. Sometimes.
So, a bit of new fuel hose and the sender is now turned 180° with the float to the left of the tank (the sender is off centre towards the right of the tank). Mortgage documents in hand and off to the servo. Full tank. Needle went straight to F for Flip that was expensive.
So we may have another winner there - the next 2 days will tell.
And, the final bonus. 6am in the magic roundabout after a night of rain and the car windscreen was kinda misted up... he demister had it cleaned off in minutes! Bonus!
