Thread: Stage one oil colour?

Did an oil change on my stage one on the weekend and the oil was a kinda, toffee colour . I've had vehicles with head gasket issues and know that water in oil look, this seems different. The vehicle is on straight gas and has I think, a Holley carbie on it. Uses no oil, goes like a rocket and doesn't blow smoke or use much water nor get hot...any ideas, would the next step to be a compression test?
