Looks sweet bud, Wish I had half of your tech. know how.
Well I am now the proud owner of this lovely bit of kit
Its was great to meet you and Karen, Jason (not forgetting Molly:D), and I gotta say the pictures don't do your workmanship justice.
I'm looking forward to getting it up and running. Woohoo!!!
:twobeers:
Just wanted to say thank you for going to the time and effort of loading up those photos and explanation, it was an insight into my 2.25 I couldn't have imagined!
if for some reason you develop a leak in the front of the block that seems to be from the front seal but isnt wetting the crank pully....
Check that you didnt drill into the joint of the putty and the metal. That stuff can crack away when its drilled, tapped and put under "load"
Parcel was on the doorstep when I got home last night.:)
Well the engine is in and running.
And its awesome!!!:burnrubber:
Thanks heaps Banjo for doing a great job.
I haven't been able to great it to run too well with the new carb, but its working perfectly with the old one, can you let me know where you got the new one from, i'm planning to strip it down and check out the accelerator pump but I'd like to know what jet sizes are best for a 2.25 and whether that whats actually in this carb.
Thanks once again:BigThumb:
