    SIII 109 2.6 Brake Parts

I have to replace front and rear shoes and cylinders on a 2.6 109 Series III (customer vehicle).
Where would be the best (cheapest) place to buy the parts. I am quite happy to buy from the UK. I had a look at the Paddock website, it looks like about 75 pounds plus postage for what I need.
    Any other recommendations?

I got shoes locally from a brake supplier (but I have managed to get trade prices). Friction material was better that the stuff fitted to the Britpart/Indian offers from Paddocks and a local LR supplier.
Wheel cylinders you could also source from a local supplier.

Cheapest isn't always best when dealing with brakes.

It's a company I deal with that shouldn't really supply the 'public'.

Try a brake company local to yourself. They will be able to get them, you just need to compare the price with the UK prices plus shipping.

Try DLS in the UK, Paul there has been very helpful, prices are good and you have the option of britparts or other suppliers. Their delivery to Aus is excellent, one order was sent Friday afternoon at 4.00pm, arrived Perth 12 noon Sunday, I got it Monday morning and that was not the express delivery option. (Average speed over 400kmh, not a bad speed for a Series 3)

I agree, but the options are cheapest or not done at all. In this case, cheapest is best. The price difference between locally sourced and UK imported appears to be about $250 or thereabouts.

I know there are two wheel cylinders per side on the front. Are they both the same, or are they different (ie, are there 2 different wheel cylinders for the front, right and left hand ones, or are there 4 different ones).
