Started work on the Tub.
Dont know who BAZ was, or maybe its name once.
Cut lips off back, so now can fit Defender type seals on the back, where the Tailgate closes.
Will do the same on the front, for the door seals.
Lots of drilled holes in the Tub, also some extra steel bracing across the bottom, underneath. Must of carried some weight at some point in its life.
Started paint stripping old paint. Rh side has upto 10mm of filler over the whole panel.
Don't know why ???? ground it off and panel not to dented, couple of spots, need a 'skim' of filler. Don't know what green was underneath the yellow. HD paint stripped doesn't really touch it.

Wow - that’s a lot of filler! [emoji15]
Few Days on Gilbert.
Looking great! Did you know that there is now an aluminium replacement grill available? (If you like that sort of thing instead of plastic original). Looking fantastic !!! [emoji1303]
Thanks.
who is doing the replacement ????

Hi WhiteBilly,
Rocky Mountain do one:
Grille series 3 - Rocky Mountain Spares
BUT I think that another company does one also - I noticed it in one of the latest Land Rover magazines over the weekend.
I will have a look at the magazine and see what I can find, from memory the other one looks identical to the plastic grill - except it's metal... I'll look tonight.
Cheers,
GG.
One of these looks better if you can find one.......
