    Hello from Brisbane.

    The washer bottle and pump fitted to most Australian Series 3 trucks was a locally made unit that was also fitted to a number of Australian built cars (Holden etc) in the 70’s. It isn’t the same as the unit fitted to the UK trucks as shown in the parts manual.

    Rare Spares - Gold Coast or Brisbane - sell a new version of that locally fitted unit.

    The original nozzle was a chromed two jet single unit that was mounted through the rear end of the bonnet about midway between the spare tyre and trailing edge. If your truck had this arrangement the hole is probably already there. The later Defender nozzles that come in pairs and are fitted through existing blanked holes in the window frame are probably better, but may be trickier to fit with the dash panel in place.

    Found the hole in the Bonnet, on the two I have.
    Thanks.
    Tub void of the glue, used to stick carpet, everywhere.
    Ready for etch and filler primer. Also had underside of bonnet, outside of Tailgate, and seat bracket, sand blasted, and Etched primed.

    Tub part painted. **** it looks good. Chassis black, underneath.
    yellow top, wheel silver capping (Gal) soon.
    Will look good, blended silver, ME thinks.

    Buff up old gal then clear coat it.
    Now Yellow. To dark for pics.

    You can repaint the Gal with a Rust Guard paint that looks like cold Gal.. Gilbert
