    what mirrors

    1980 v8 stage one trayback,what mirrors would it have had from new?Currently has alloy truck mirrors.Also would it have had any v8 decals?Has been repainted so can't tell.It is an aussie build.

    Small badge mounted low on each of the front fenders just behind the front wheel cut out stating "LANDROVER 3.5". I have seen some Stage One's with decals displaying "Landrover V8" I am not sure if that was just an Aussie marketing tool or it was used in other markets for the Stage One. Good luck finding the fender badges though. Maybe Fleabay is your best bet.

    The link below may be useful to see decals that look pretty original to me. You can see the badges on the fenders if you look closely. Small long rectangular shaped badges low on the front guards. Hope that helps.
