    front prop shaft woes

    Trying to remove front prop shaft on my stage one v8.Tried to remove uni at diff end,every spanner i have is a bit small or a bit big,including multifit ones.Removed bolts from transfer case end but slip joint won't come apart.Goes out so far and locks.Tried removind grease nipple thinking some kind of hydraulic lock with grease but no go.What am i missing?

    There is a special tool but I've always used a slim ring spanner (not offset).
    Sometimes have to move the vehicle so the uni rotates to give a bit more room.

    DA1119 | Propshaft bolt removal tool (usually 14.50GBP)

    There is a cap that holds the seal on the slip joint, unscrew this and the joint will come apart.
    Mark it's orientation so you don't get it back together out of phase because it upsets the balance.
