    Bought for parts

Started on the front guards they are getting close but few more dents to go I have been keeping some of its war wounds as it’s part of Everest’s history ,but the big ones I am knocking flat trial fitting as I go
Once it’s finished I will no doubt add a few dents of my own

Quick job before flying back to work painted grill up was a pain of a job it turned out ok good enough for a landy
Brake fitting turned up fitted that up brakes bled up a dream perfect pedal took two times to bleed air out
Ran out time to do clutch but it’s not going anywhere fast so will do that and hopefully drive it for the first time

Well Everest has a hood no more mader from cars movie impression I also put floor in gives the car a whole new look waiting for some slotted self tappers and will then put hand brake rubber on
Also threw on the sills and mud guards under the guards it’s actually starting to look like a landy again

Sometimes it’s good to look back at what it looked like before to give you motivation and realise how many hours go into these things

Looking good still. I had 3 blokes in on Saturday morning to take all my LR 109 junk away from a mezzanine floor. It was beyond me getting to it/. I had forgotten some of the stuff I had squirreled away after I had stripped it down about 10 years ago. There was some good stuff amongst it that I had forgotten all about so I did keep some back for the just in case time for my 2A but the truck cab went. The dings in it's roof came out with a couple of heavy hand thumps. They just sprung out like "Boiiiiinnnnggggggg." It had been used for spotlight shooting (Roos probably) so had a few holes in the roof from where Spotties were installed & blokes leaning on it. Glad it now has all gone as my restoration of LRs days are over. Have already done 2x Hornsby Hot Bulb Oil engines 1 x New Way & dug out an old Wolsley Shearing Engine for them to take. Next project for me now is the restoration of a Queen Victoria era Laundry Clothes Mangle. It is complete even down to the boards & weights each side. Online I see these are fetching around $1,600 Made in the UK in Manchester or London & passed to me by an old friend now departed this life who had summat to do with Craigburn Farm a children's home.

with it’s always good to have something to keep the mind active
I'm not sure that is the real reason, more like "get out of the bloody house & find summat to do you're under my feet".
