This tool kit is from my 1971 2A.
It also features the "King Dick" adjustable wrench.

Very similar to the kit that came with the 1981 S3 I bought years ago, and claimed to be original by the seller. Only significant difference was a conventional shifter. Tool roll was black plastic, like that seems to be.
