Thread: S3 drop down tailgate hinge

Hi there, I'm doing up a 76 SWB soft top with a drop down tailgate. The guy who owned the car before me had changed it to a swing type tailgate and cut off the original hinges on the back of the chassis. I'm going to make up a couple of new hinges and weld them back on, but ive only got a vague idea what they look like. Is there anyone in the Eastern suburbs area in Melbourne with a S3 with drop down tailgate who could give me 5 minutes to measure up the hinge?
