We'll find out Sunday afternoon when I go have a look.
Need to start at what's been changed and go from there, I suspect the timing is out.

Ok - good luck
Is the battery cranking starter motor fast enough............my motor had a non start moment after sitting for a while........battery charge fixed it
Cheers Paul
Dont forget - we want to see a video of it when it fires up for the first time!
cheers,
D
It runs[biggrin]
Spark plug leads where in the right order but 90deg out.
Being electronic ignition I couldn't set it up with the test light.
A guess to start and it cranked until it sparked and all but stoped rotating.
Mmm, maybe a little advanced so moved the distributor and she fired into life without hesitation.
A few more tweeks with the throttle linkage and idle screw gave us the ability to put the timing light for setting every thing up properly.
It seems a good thing, including new wheel cylinders on the front.
There is a short lever next to the hand brake that I believe is for the cable operated rear diff lock.
There is a shaft in the diff housing with a spring on the lever which I think is where the missing cable joins.
Brains trust-is this factory option?
Both diffs have long braided hoses leading up above dash bight.
Also I believe it's had a guard mounted air filter with the bonet modified for the hose.
Was there an Expedition Edition/option available from the factory?
Thanks again Kyle. You may it looked so easy yesterday [smilebigeye]
What's called this guard mounted air filter?
I just ordered, master cylinder, and brake hoses. Hopefully they will be picked up Tommorow. Jobs for this Saturday installation
Nice beast Kyle. Actually it was my first time driving Land Rover Series. It (something similar) may be my next series since my daughter likes it. I just need to figure it out how to talk to the boss [biggrin]
Need to get these 2 series run and registered first then I will start negotiating [biggrin] I know I have no more room for what I have now but....[bigwhistle]
