Not sure how it broke.

The old steering box was locked up from the start.

The newer one I'm using for parts is in much better condition. Hopefully I can get it back together without messing it up.

It's these bearings at the top that I'm finding the most difficulty with.

After a clean and some new bearings the steering box is much better

Hi Just came across this thread. I have a SIII with 3 fuel tanks. The 2 under the seats are LR tanks but an aftermarket fitting. At least I think that's the case

While cleaning up a box of parts i stumbled upon these.

Not really progress but a fun find

Replaced a few parts today and all set for new lines this weekend

And cleaned up ready for the replacement on the weekend

Steering box has been put back in.
Relay replaced.
Brake lines to the front and back replaced
