Petrol /Diesel head gasket difference.
I have to pull the head on a 2 1/4 diesel.
Amongst my collection of old gaskets is a copper one for the 2 1/4.
Normally they are marked either Petrol or Diesel. This one is not. All it has on it is "Made in England" and "A6210".
I cant remember what petrol ones look like but this has en extra half moon layer of copper where the Pre-Combustion chambers sit. This leads me to believe it may be a diesel one but I could be wrong.
any ideas?
Keith
