I had a 161 in my series 1 - not much extra zoom, zoom over the standard 2 litre. In my series 3 (looks a lot like yours) I had to recondition the 2.25 and when back on the road its performance was certainly a match for a holden 6.
With your Series 3 - if the engine runs and the conversion is OK then leave it - sometime later you might want to reconsider but the reality is that the Holden engine is part of LR history in Aust and there is not much difference in performance between the two engines to make it worth while changing things around unless you really want originality.
