That looks like an additional leaf to aid in carrying capacity, ouch with the fingers and the plane . Must be easier ways to remove your prints.
I managed to run an electric plane over the pads of my first two fingers on my r/h and have it bandaged up, and so on light duties. I thought i would go stare at the Diesel and see if anyone had broken into the shed and done a full resto on it, but sadly.........
Can anyone tell me please the part no.s or names of the clamps holding the springs, and why the spring would have come away from the others like this? I’m struggling to find the part numbers in the book. It looks to me as though i may be missing a clamp? Also what i would call a u bolt on the right looks way to big to me. All comments gratefully received as usual.
cheers,

Look like LWB Station Wagon springs Isuzu C240 powered Series 3
Similar to those fitted to my Series III shorty...
Doubt whether you'd be able to get the clamps, probably have to go to spring manufacturing company or make them yourself.

Yes, station wagon springs, and that is what they are meant to look like.

Series 1 Lwb 107/109 have similar springs. Have yours got the folded leaf for the auxiliary plate to rest against ? If you're lucky you'll find a stamped part number at one end of the spring. (The ones in the picture are just an example)
