    Ricks Slll hardtop

Just picked this old girl up to join my two disco’s. Bit rough, original engine in back with head off, some rust in front of chassis and top corner of bulkhead.
Plan is to give it a good clean up to see what I have and take it from there.

Had a bit of spare time to give it a clean and check it over better.

Bit of rust around the front dumb irons ( one side has a previous repair), small patch in the rear crossmember that should be an easy repair.

Some rust at top of bulkhead and under brake booster, other than that it’s not too bad for cancer.

Motor is in back with head off, missing a few pushrods, head bolts and a valve collet. Bores are very dirty, so will probably strip it down and run a hone through them and see what happens. If it’s ok, will probably give it a basic rings and bearing rebuild.
Not sure on box, but it shifts and selects gear easy, but appears to have a leak or two Ricks Slll hardtop

Carby disassembled and not sure if it’s all there.

Brake master cylinder seized, which probably explains the bent brake pedal Ricks Slll hardtop. One side rear has shoes and cylinders removed.

Some fun times ahead......Ricks Slll hardtop

Pulled guards, radiator support bonnet etc for a better look, not real sure about the stuff welded to bottom of chassis below front shackles......

its had a few repairs over the years by the looks of it, they will be redone. Was goin to try eave body on, but thinking may just be easier to just unbolt everything, thinking will make the chassis work easier if i can flip the whole thing over.
