Fergo's Steering

Ok, so I have removed the damper this morning. My measures 305 closed and 510 open. Double checked and goes to lock stops both sides no problem.
I guess i am i the market for a new damper!
Also if anyone knows of a good fuel tank, I would be interested. Mine has started to leak again 😭

My damper closed up, to the sizes Johnno measured.
Probably never closed up that far before.

Not 100% convinced with the damper. I am going to pull the drag link off and measure it.

Drag link was set at 820 instead of 783. Adjusted that, double checked lock without damper 👍 re fitted the damper and still good 👌🕺. So it was an incorrect setting on the drag link causing the damper to restrict the stroke / lock for right hand turns. Time for a test drive 😁😁😁
