    Red Tap on 2.6 litre motor

    Hello All,

    I am about to embark on overhauling my first Stromberg CD 175 carburettor so I was doing some research on youTube. I found this link and it shows a red - agricultural looking tap handle. Does anyone know what it is for? Click on 4 accessed April 27 2018, from YouTube.
    Yes, the video is of a 2A not a Series 3. My 2.6 litre motor is in my Series 3s though

    I found another youTube clip that shows another 2.6 with the same red handled tap just as the video starts off -accessed April 27 2018 YouTube
