    What colour is this?

Can anyone tell me the name, or better still, colour code for this paint?

Bahama Gold is another S3 colour. I was of the understanding the colour change over was around 78 but others more "in the know" should be able to clarify.

The car came with the original wheels in the back, but they are painted silver. Thanks for the help.

    Hello John,

Silver wheels were standard for most Series 3 109s. Note the word "most" - not all, I am being diplomatic

    Kind regards

Always hard to pick in photos. Mine 'seems' to have a bit more of the "nappy" element about it.

Does look like Camino Gold to me but hard to distinguish from Bahama Gold from a photo.

If it's Camino Gold then Super Cheap Auto have it in their catalogue and can mix it for you, if you're after touch-up paint. Mine came out very close to the original. If you;re after bulk quantities then probably best to colour match from a sample, a spot where the paint is relatively intact and hasn't been exposed to direct sunlight. Super Cheap may well have the code for Bahama Gold as well.

I’ve got a few rattle cans in Camino Gold from super cheap to respray floors, seatbox and various other cover bits. Came up pretty close ... although 40 years of fade means they look different side by side.
Have them search “Camino” and it’ll come up. The paint code I have is 566 12137 but the super cheap code was 153412.
Great 70’s colour, really channels that decade :-)
