    Window catches

I am trying to find some station wagon side window catches (part number 323324/5) see photo: IMG_20190901_113828.jpg

I haven't been able to find them from the normal parts suppliers - does any have any or can suggest a source? Much appreciated, thanks.

They are getting scarce and people are asking crazy prices for NOS ones.
There are two different sizes, which one are you looking for ? One has a longer reach than the other.
I know where I can get a NOS long reach one (in a Leyland box) I'd have to check the price.

You need the 'long reach' for one window and the 'short reach' for the other window. You'll see the difference when you look at them.
The parts manual mentions overall length 1" or 1 1/2". Part numbers 332324 and 332325

    41GBP plus freight.
332324 NOS - Sliding Window Lock, Large Version, New Old Stock
332325 NOS - Sliding Window Lock, Short Version, New Old Stock

    US$74
Roofside Sliding Window Lock Rear Glass - Ser II & III PLB808 | Rovers North - Land Rover Parts and Accessories Since 1979

If you Google the part numbers you might come up with something. If it's the longer one I may be able to get one.

Colin, Thanks - now I understand the difference between long and short! my rear windows have been fixed (maybe to avoid buying catches!) I'll leave them 'as is' so it is a 'short' catch that I am after - thanks for your assistance!

    Mike,

I may be able to partly help you out - I bought two new catches for my truck cab rear windows a few years back which are yet to be fitted. I still have the old ones in my parts pile which I can access fairly easily. I think they are the same fittings as used on the wagon rear side windows.

Can’t remember which was broken - long or short. Will take a look when I’m down there later.

    Cheers,

    Neil
