Nice workmanship.
It will be a very practical and useable vehicle when it's completed.
Following with interest.

I'm trying to be faithful to the original, but with a few mechanical updates to make it slightly more user friendly.
As for completed.... Hmmm... I'm estimating another 2 years at the present rate and with available funds. If it takes longer that's okay, I'm not in any hurry, i just do a bit at a time.
I think I'm building a family heirloom...?!?!
Most of it is fabricated or just made up as I went along.
It's the original series steering column, with the worm cut off and 2 bearings inside.
Manufactured up a support bracket at the end of the column.
Discovery 2 lower steering linkage.
P38 power steering box mounted to chassis via a fabricated bracket.
I haven't figured out the drag link yet or the power steering lines.
Let us know if you need more info.
Cheers
Now that's some engineering on the power steering !!
I have seen some after market solutions, but yours looks much better integrated with the vehicle.
It's more a curiosity at the moment for me, I have just finished the restoration of my S2a, so I won't be ripping it apart again anytime soon, but mayb efurther down the track !!
Good luck with the rest of the project.
Cheers,
John
Many things done since the last post and very close to seeing if I can get the motor running.
