For me much the same as vnx205, my S3 88 has a second tank which is slightly larger than the primary tank. The secondary has no gauge the primary does. Between the seats is a simple fuel switch. A hangover from military days I reset the trip meter on filling up and I know that I get so many miles out of the secondary tank, once those miles click over I swap tanks and now have a gauged supply. I also know how many miles this roughly gives me in case it lets me down (whoever heard of Lucas letting you down[bigsmile]) Old school but effective, as long as the trip meter works I guess. I find that I only have a few litres of fuel left in the second tank each time. Even if it did let you down you switch tanks when she splutters and if you stick to the system you are on a gauge. Toyed with the idea of a second sender but eventually didn't see the point.
