Hello 4Bee,

You mean water leaks like the internal shower I receive from the seam of the cab joint on each of my fixed windscreen Series III when I negotiate a corner, after it has rained? I thought water leaks came as a standard feature of Series IIIs.

Windscreen posts have the triangle brackets on them but can't seem to find the significance of them.
As explained by others, mirror mounts.

Body is originally a 6 cylinder but has a Holden 202 in it now. Transmission tunnel cover incorporates hi-lo range lever in 1 piece but lever seems to be set too far back and has had the cover cut (very roughly) to fit through. Currently has a 4 cylinder lever fitted.
Cutout for gearlever has been modified in the transmission tunnel so was the gearbox mounted further back when the Holden motor was installed ?
Hi/Lo lever is in the floor and looks correct.

I have found that when I drive my 80" with the tilt off & screen down motor bike riders abuse me because I am not wearing a helmet. I wear glasses so the bugs are not a problem but they do get stuck in my teeth [biggrin]

A deceased friend built two tricycle kit cars. The first with Citroen engine and running gear and the second with Subaru. They are two seaters, side by side. Qld. Transport classes them as motorcycles and helmets must be worn.

Oh, that was another LR BITM "(LR Before it's time Modification)" Do you prefer a slippery one then?


A bit of a bugger though when you reach your destination & can't get out 'cos your mitts are stuck to the wheel. Mind you if you had removed the nut (not you, I hasten to add [smilebigeye]) you could always take it in with you. The Pub, the Funeral Directors, Council Offices etc etc.


Bit of a bugger though if you need to sign any documents & you have a sticky Steering wheel to contend with as well. You can't really say to the Bank Manager " 'ere mate, hold this for a tick:."
