    Axles for Rover Diff

Hi, I have broken an axle (10 spline) in my series 3 (2.25 diesel) - a bit surprised (only broken axles in a 6cylinder before) but now after new/replacement ones and will consider carrying a spare on long trips - I have heard that some new ones are very poor quality - can anyone recommend a brand/source that is of reasonable quality? Thanks.

Quite often when you brake one the other brakes not long after , it certainly did on my fathers S3 , old Holden's were the same usually with in a week on them. I remember with my furthers S3 took off from the lights changed into 2nd & bang, the second one went about 1 month later same way.

I should have a set of good originals if you want to go that path, post to Perth will be a bit of a hit though.
