As a landy lover and owner Im surprised at how many people put down their $ value. As with all things there are good and bad examples.I wouldnt part with my 1977 ser3 swb for under $20000 as it is origional with 25000km.I would struggle in this market to get a decent price for my 2a WKSP rover that Ive done an almost total rebuild on.My ex army 110 went too America (sold for a reasonable and acceptable price and personal feelings).WHY TALK PRICES DOWN RATHER THAN UP.? I personally know how much money Ive on parts with out labour etc.If you have a passion your heart decides the price.THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE ADD,(as my vehicles havent been able to travel the miles on the roads of late, that will give me the huge smile needed for the effort to think about selling)...............Spoken by a grumpy bugger who had too cancel plans out bush (with a mate who had just finished his......possibly over priced SER 1)....No lies get told around a campfire.CHEERS HALLSY.
In this big land of ours the transport costs are the killer, when you finally find your dream.
I know I’m paying for the privilege but my insurer didn’t hesitate when I insured my 2a 88 for 15k agreed value
Cheers Paul
