    6-cylinder accelerator rod bush

There is a bush missing from the accelerator rod that mounts across the back of the engine on my FFR.

Does anyone know what the bush looks like ? I can make something to fit but wondered what was there originally.

Found them online but you're right, I'll turn up a plastic bush on the lathe.
I'm sure we have some plastic rod at work otherwise a trip to Busy Bee Plastic Sheet + Rod | Busy Bee Brushware

Found some rod at work, now need to move stuff around in the shed to get access to the lathe !!
Maybe I'll make two bushes, one spare that I'll never use and will probably lose anyway......

Which reminds me, on a 6-cylinder water pump there is/was a spring steel spigot that went into the bypass to stop the O-ring moving out of place. I have a NOS one somewhere but do you think I can find it !
Later pumps it's a machined spigot, maybe I'll turn something up while the lathe is uncovered.

May be you could make a few , there must be others that will need them . could cover your costs.

A mate used to get parts made for Morgan 3-wheelers.
When he wanted a part he often got 10 made so he could make money selling the spares. Years later he always had 9 left !

Both parts are fairly obscure so I'll probably just make 1 of each.

Yes , know what you mean, I used to make front bump bars for S1's , I pressed up enough to make 10 with & 10 without fish plates , I would tell people I would supply galvanized but they had to send me the crank handle plate to weld onto the bar , I had 3 spares . Yes Yes I will cut it off my old bar & send it . After supplying 3 bars I dumped all the pressings I had because no one supplied the Crank handle plate & that was the hardest piece to make.
