hand brake/linkage pivot
Help please!
I eventually replaced my Slll broken right rear axle, after cleaning tools, rags etc up from floor I found this bolt which at this stage I have no idea where it has come from. It is 1” long and the shaft under the spring is 5/16”. Many thanks in advance.

Ah, thanks Dave. It has been in pieces for some time and it has obviously been kicked from the handbrake parts at the other end of the shed floor. I’ll take better care of it in future.

Hello from Brisbane.
Not a part identification question, although I have plenty of those for a follow up exercise later on.
More a missing part whose trajectory from the pile was probably similar to the handbrake screw in the original post.
What I’m after is the small plate like washer that bolts to the right hand side of the transfer case to hold the end of the handbrake lever spring (part 267412).

If anyone has one on a wreck I’m keen to get it.

shape what used to be called a penny washer or a body washer after drilling a hole in it, then bend it to suit.
takes about 3 minutes with a 1/16th drill bit and a well held angle grinder with a vice or a bench grinder and a pair of vice grips.
