Thats a pretty big undertaking, its not as straight forward as people would have you think.
If it's a 109, then you'd be better off using a Stage 1 chassis if you were going to replace the chassis (and vehicle identity)
If its an 88, then this is what I found. Everything needs to get pushed right forward and it wont go behind the original facia, or you need a shorter gearbox setup (eg stumpy)

You then have to meet all the ADR’s of the year the Disco was made which gets quite difficult these days. Can be done but much more complicated - interior needs padding in certain locations a series doesn’t have it - like A pillars, roof lining, door cards and windows so later model Defender doors required. Seatbelts, rollover and other items all need to be updated too - more like the later Defenders which requires more work too.
I did look at doing a similar project a few years ago but it was going to be way too difficult and expensive.
Not impossible but very difficult these days depending on where you are as well.
