I am also looking for alternative seats so hopefully someone here can help.
As previously advised I am having trouble finding front seats for my Landy. Any suggestions for other non Land Rover seats that will still allow under seat access?

As mentioned before, be careful of changing seats if the vehicle doesn't have a roadworthy.
Changing the seats could require 'engineering', even if they are better/stronger than the originals
The aftermarket DeLuxe Series seats are OK and there are 'high-back' versions.
Anything else will probably require a frame made to mount them to, this could hinge to allow access underneath.
Early Defender seats have a removable cushion (not sure about later ones).
I have a highback seat I removed from one of mine but no idea what vehicle it came from though.

Just had a quick Google.
Interesting that people have fitted alternatives then often come back to originals.
We all have different body shapes so you need to find seats that fit the vehicle and also fit you. Then you need to work out how to install and allow access to the under seat storage.
