Discovery 2 axles - Perentie wheels

Hi, just purchased a new toy. 1960 2A with Discovery 2 V8 auto. Disco axles, disc brakes. My question is will standard Perentie steel wheels fit on the axle? Photos of green Perentie and mags on car.

They should fit Discovery 1 axles (which yours look like) but not Discovery 2 axles.
    Cheers

a pic of the wheels would be good.
as already mentioned if D1 hubs then Defender/110/Perentie steel wheels will fit (excluding the fact later Defender alloys wont fit because of the larger older hubs).

My Perentie has D1 steel wheels as they are a 16x7 making them more useful for different tyres rather than the 5.5 of the Perentie steel wheels.

    D2 hubs are P38, D3 etc style

as Slunnie says, definitely D1 ... or RRC or maybe Defender axles ... they're not D2 axles on it.

Not mags, they look like Sunraysia style steel rims. Get rid of the wheel nuts from mag wheels, though.

Now you have added an extra pic, they are Disco 1 pattern (or rangie classic) looking at the centre hub assembly, so Perentie wheels will fit.

While the wheel lugs are for Defender/disco 1 etc alloy wheels they have the bevel provision on the end so they can be used on a steel wheel (they just look ugly/wrong).

Yes, I agree that the nuts will work with steel rims (my P38A came with a steel spare) but, as you say, they look wrong.
