Early Series 3 diesel passenger side guard

Hi all wondering if anyone has a disused early(71-72) passenger guard where the exhaust exits through it.It is for my 2.25 Diesel SWB, I'm in Torquay Victoria so something nearby would be good, but a drive in the country could also be arranged. Even a lend or allow me to bring up a panel so I can modify the guard to suit am trying to keep the vehicle original looking seeing the rest seems that way. Even some clear pictures or a diagram would be useful, hope some one can help

Yes you are right there is a cut out square section , I looked at some S1 at the 4X4 show yesterday they had a plate that bolted on to close off the open end of the cut out was this the same on S3 as well?

So do you have a cover plate on any of your guards to close the hole off or did Series 3 not have anything, early S3 ones in particular not have a plate to close the hole off.

So would you part with one or send me a image or drawings of the dimensions of what I need to replicate a cover plate.

You have to forgive my ignorance the exhaust on my car goes out horozontally through the inner guard section. Thankyou for sending the photo the rivited plate is where my exhust goes. Was there a plate that fitted to inner guard to close off the open section of the exhaust pipe hole to close it off.
    Kindest regards
