Thankyou will look up the thread, I have like these little vehicles for some time the compliance plate has land rover game on it so that is a genuine item not sure about the build number though do you have an image about that you could put up on the thread. Is it the black and silver plate that has L R 88" ...
    on it or another one.

I have not seen this pate before but it looked good so heres aphoto of it.

Garry, it is the ID plate that has the chassis number on it, the build number is a three digit number near the top of this plate. I couldn't view your picture above but I noticed from the Ebay ad photos that yours had this number on it.

    Cheers, Mick.

So todays been a productive replace all the faded cracked lens on the car , took out the plugs put a small bit of engine oil in the bores, replaced the fuel pump, got the indictors and fuel sender working to the gauge. Motor would not start no fuel was not the pump as it was new. Traced the line back to the tank only to find a cracked hose sucking in air, bugger did not need to replace the pump. Got the motor going runs very sweet took it for a drive wheel spins in 1st so that was a bit strange did not think landys could do it unless a 8 was in the engine bay and I was not trying to do it. So the motor seem healthy, but can not say that about the brakes they pull up even after several pumps. Looks like replacement of all the hydraulic components are needed. AlWAYS had an attitude that if one component needs attention with brakes then they all will soon enough, I like to stop! Which begs me to ask has anyone fitted bigger brakes, I have been told 109" rears alround and a 109" master make a big difference without altering the look of it. What are peoples thoughts with brakes on 88" Landys in particular GAMES. Good to hear your thoughts.

So todays photo is a bit In front of the carby it looks like it has a hose that should attach to the top of it, where it goes I would not know and what its purpose is I really have no idea. Does anyone know appear to attach to the carby. heres a photo of it in the forground of the carby.

Not loading up not sure why????
So if some one can explain what it is that would be great.
    Till later

This is the firewall it is not the best feature and I suppose its going to have to come out at some time the previous owner had glassed up the footwells while he has done a good job it what lurks beneath that is a concern.
