im not sure if anyone has said it yet but there were only 500 of these made and they were made just for australia i think for competition with toyotas
Haven't had much chance to take photos as I have been too busy working on it but here are is one of a pair of twins at the GCLRO club DARE. Unfortunately it was after the mud so you can't see the nice white painted wheels I spent a few days doing. Mine is at the front and the other one belongs to Killer.

Well thanks for loading those images they look great feel like getting a Game Day organised but to few to far apart I suspect. Both look good clean vehicles the othe day was looking at the door trim the upper section looks like there was some padded arm rest thing happening. Would you know any thing regarding this. I noticed on a previous image of you door trim it has the same flappy bit if trim. Have you seen a really good or very originally preserved one would like to know as I will repair the trims.
Cheers
Garry
The build date on mine is 8/78 92342346A Has been stripped back and painted green.
Hi Garry,
Yes I think it is meant to be a little padded armrest. They are part of the "deluxe" interior package. You can still buy complete new interiors from the UK, including the deluxe one (though they look slightly different from the interior in mine) and they have the door trims with the pockets as part of that. If you look for them online you should be able to see a picture of them there.
Crispy that would explain why it is not yellow. That removes that bit of confusion at least.

On the top of the plate inside the car I have the number 358. Did they number all the Games this way? Were there only 500 made ? Thought there would be more than that. Got my RWC today as well.![]()
Hi Garry,
Company I saw the interiors at was Exmoor Trim. Pretty well known company I believe. Page 48 of their on line catalogue but you can't really see a lot.
Hi Crispy,
Mine is 260 something (can't see in the dark) and I think killers is 280 something. We did look at them when we had them together but I can't remember the exact numbers. Mine is 5/78 and Killers is 6/78.
I would also be interested to know where we could find out if there really were only 500 made. Maybe there needs to be a register started.
