Bugga , But i'm still going to get the parts & make the brackets. If i cant get them on this one ,I will be starting to look for another one soon so i could use them on it..

Well rang metaland this morning to check the price of my plate as the lady i spoke to on friday said yeah should be about $30 ..
No such luck i rings today to be told that 250mm x 12mm is only sold in 1m lengths & is $87 ..So thats going to have to wait now...BUT i did find my aloy off cuts & have enough to make a templet...YAY..:mad::mad:

Hey banjo it would be cheaper if I just cut you some and send them:D

BTW TJ I have cut a sample for you to see if it fits (we made it look more smoother)

I can ring a place here in perth to see if they do counter sunk high spec bolts do you know what thread they are and how long??

Well spent most of the day on the phone to as many metal merchants i could find round here there's not many . One place i rang said na don't do anything that thick.. Three others wheren't sure if they had any that size Took my details so they could ring me back still waiting ..
One place said yep we can do that but wont have any for atleast a week & couldn't give me a price as he was to bussy...:mad::mad::mad:...

Oh awesome, I'll have to go and check the sizes! They're the ones that hold the stub and drum brake backing plate on.

According to my parts manual they are BR 0538 (LR 237339) which equates to:

3/8" BSF x 1"

Strange, I thought it would be UNF.

I'll get one, take it down to the local bearing store and get them to check it.
