Series 3 LWB is 1.33m

So that's 3 inches diff (3 inches = 76.2mm)

1.5 inches per side is hardly significant and is actually beneficial on the Series as it widens the track width that smidgen that you need.

Edit - and I've just realised where a set is.... I'll check tomorrow, but there have been a set in my mates workshop for ages, but he has just had a clean out...

.........and there should have been enough MQ Pootrols sold over there to mean that a set of axles shouldn't be more than $1,000 in excellent nick?

I know over here I can source an MQ rolling chassis with rotten body for that price, with the T-case, leaf springs, etc.

There's an idea: add the T100L divorced T-case as a rock crawler option?

Why not just use the Discovery 1 axles and change the coil perches etc?

I thought it was a disc brake conversion, but if you need stronger diffs then you can go the whole hog and make a proper Frankenstein.

I would do that if i could aford a couple of them as id like disc brakes all round.Specialy now that my tray back Harry has a 253 holden V8 & nissan 5 speed.I will be doing some work to the engine but not sure how far i'll take it yet..

Did you have any problems with the brake line hitting the shock?? As I had to end up using the supplied flexible brake line, that came with the kit..

My Roam Offroad "Tim Cooper" 4 Wheel Disc brake setup. Front and Rear..

Only thing left to do, is to bleed the brake system. And as soon as some parts I have ordered finally arrive. Convert to dual brake circuit system.

Yes.

My kit did not come with those brake lines they were meant to supply that you used, they must have forgotten to pack them in.
I had to make up new lines with a tight bend on them to get around the issue, but I've found they're still just touching the shock which must be happening when the wheel is hit as it has enough clearance when I check the turn. On another note I'm extremely happy with my disc brakes, I should have done the conversion years ago. On road and off road I have acknowledged their benefit many times.
