I don't put anything on my car till my engineer has seen it & aproves as i have the kids in the car thats why it took so long to get done & finished, i had everything aproved first..
I have read some pretty bad stories of people not doing it right & having or causing a bad crash.
Alright! I get the message! I'll get my wife to pick up the bracket from the machinist on Monday, bring it back and I'll trace it for you. Had Landy issues yesterday so I didn't get a chance.

    Top stuff Banjo!

I don't think anything will need hardening though - hardening makes things brittle but your engineer knows more than I do.

Let us know how you get on,

    Cheers Charlie

Here's a scan, raw from the scanner, no resizing. It is important to note, this caliper bracket will not fit a swivel housing with a rounded edge, only the ones with a straight cut chamfer.

Seems like a good idea; if they are using Defender components <snip>

I have babelfish as a "favourite" in my browser! It's quite amusing most times as it translates word by word without grammar. If you do a consecutive series of languages and return to English. The result often bears little resemblance to the original text.

Onto the Heystee conversion - looks good, but as I'd be using Stage one CV swivels then I'd be up for another Euro 300 making the incomplete kit about $1,500.00 before shipping what will be a heavy parcel. So the thought of a local alternative is appealing.

Would you be considering having a batch made or just a single one off pair?

As banjo has asked, could you post up an image of what you describe as the chamfered edge or the one that wont fit?

the first time I went to the site (from work), the little icon with the "Union Flag" was not visible so my fall back was BabelFish - when I went home I was able to see the Union Flag icon and read the site in English.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

On the hardening issue, 12mm is rather thick and resistant to distortion, but you may find that an engineer may require a particular grade of steel.

It would asking the question before proceeding.

Great stuff guys, I'm watching with interest, Jason I'm in the same boat as you, as my wagon (1979) was also originally a rover six now converted to Holden 202. I'd love to have ago at this myself.
