I don't think anything will need hardening though - hardening makes things brittle but your engineer knows more than I do.

Here's a scan, raw from the scanner, no resizing. It is important to note, this caliper bracket will not fit a swivel housing with a rounded edge, only the ones with a straight cut chamfer.

How do i know which is which do i have to pull it all apart to find out or is it a year spasific.
Mine is a 1973 LWB origanaly a 6cyl now with holden 6cyl..

I think i mite be best to trace it off the screen...

I have babelfish as a "favourite" in my browser! It's quite amusing most times as it translates word by word without grammar. If you do a consecutive series of languages and return to English. The result often bears little resemblance to the original text.

Onto the Heystee conversion - looks good, but as I'd be using Stage one CV swivels then I'd be up for another Euro 300 making the incomplete kit about $1,500.00 before shipping what will be a heavy parcel. So the thought of a local alternative is appealing.

As banjo has asked, could you post up an image of what you describe as the chamfered edge or the one that wont fit?

the first time I went to the site (from work), the little icon with the "Union Flag" was not visible so my fall back was BabelFish - when I went home I was able to see the Union Flag icon and read the site in English.

You did say they where made from 12mm plate some where or that yours where 12mm thick didn't you...

On the hardening issue, 12mm is rather thick and resistant to distortion, but you may find that an engineer may require a particular grade of steel.

It would asking the question before proceeding.
