Stupid quick question
Sorry, this is really silly..
Where does one top up the oil on a 2.6L 6cyl engine? Is it from the hole on top of the rocker cover with the dome shaped cap? Or is it the pipe coming out of the side of the engine with the normal looking cap?
Thanks, i only just got the Landy and am unaware of even the most basic things...

ok thanks for that! i wont be putting in for a while... it wont be used for a couple of weeks and would rather the oil be in a bottle ready for its intended use rather than on the garage floor!

Yes it would be more silly not to ask the question, then force open the breather on the top of the rocker cover which frequently happens on both the Rover six cylinder and particularly the Series 1 1997cc engine.
