I bought myself a present today!

I just had to share with an appreciative audience.

Im excited even though the boys at work spent all day telling me what POS's they were.

I guess its a landy thing... Ive been a bit lonely since I sold Ol' Basil the Series 1

Tell me I didnt do the wrong thing... I havent told the missus yet.

Looks good to me...I don't think you've done the wrong thing... buying it, but NOT telling the missus BEFORE buying it... well I think you know what you've done!

    Brave move.

You know there is a good chance of a reciprical purchasing from Er Indoors now. She may get mad but you still have the Landy

Nice buy. Are you going to keep it original?

I have found that forgiveness is usually more easily obtained then permission. Unfortunately it also costs more.

Let's get this straight - you didn't buy a Landrover without telling the missus - you bought two Landrovers without telling the missus?

They look like a good buy.

Preservation is the only immediate plan aside from sorting through and clearing the 4T of crap out of them.

Unfortunately they are 3rd in line for the shed just now. Ive only just got the Sprite back together and parted with it because of lack of space . Our mini is in a ba-zillion bits across the garage floor at the moment. Once its finished ive promised to start the missus' grandfathers 63' Dodge truck (129 360cu).

I havent had a really good look yet but the wagon is going to be the focus. Its had a 186 conversion but the rest looks pretty original, the roof is the only really rough panel. The hardtop is an original 2.6 but has a few good bits; f/w hubs, fairey o/d, long range tanks and a mad max inspired belly plate.

Perhaps someone could write me a note for work so i would have more time to play with the projects mounting up.
