Nice piece of kit you got there.
I've learnt everything I know from previous Landy, here and other net forums.
Enjoy.

Slowly making progress with the diff, I was curious as to how interchangeable the various parts are for the front and rear diffs? I'm assuming they're both original (Rover)...
Aaagh! Spent a good three hours on the diff, both the halfshafts are in perfect condition (bar a bum oil seal on the driver's side), so not sure what's going on inside...
Couldn't actually open up the diff - spent most the time trying to get it open with a chisel and hammer (it's stuck pretty well), so hopefully it'll come off tomorrow - I'll definitely need a new diff gasket :s
A big thank you to Andrew (aka Shonky) for giving some helpful advice & labour this afternoon!
Now that something appears wrong with the carbie, I've given up on the diff. I gave it another couple of hours today and it won't separate more than a few millimeters - either way it's exceptionally rooted :BigCry:
Anybody have an unloved Rover rear diff about the place?
No worries Dave - I didn't really help much and didn't get any further than you did. :(
In fact, all I did was break your screwdriver and ruin your "sweet runner" engine with my negative vibes... :p
Nonetheless, it was good to say G'Day and check out your toy. No doubt it will be up and tearing through the bush soon! ;)
