The 2.25 in the 2a measures 42.5mm accross, so I'd say 43.

I don't know if the series 3 2.25 is the same (I would assume so)
But the 6cyl could be another story. Although, to take the crank dog, It would probably be very similar.

G'day All, I use a 3/4" drive socket, 1 3/4" it is a loose fit but does the job, I would say 1 11/16" would be closer to the mark, but the cost of the socket for one job, well thats why I use my other socket LOL cheers Dennis

Yeah the cost of those sockets is insane, friggin' $55 for one!?

OK well I had to bite it and buy the socket AND a 1/2" bar to suit....$75
The 1-11/16" was spot on by the way.

Is there any particular knack to getting this thing off, its tight as!
I presume it come off anti-clockwise?

Shock/heat/lube I guess?
