SII/SIIa/SIII hardtop bolts on SI hard top?

    Hi people

I don't have any 80" gal cappings here in Sydney and need to find 4 bolts to secure an 80" hard top to an 80" for the journey from Glenreagh to SEQ. I was hoping to use the bolts off a SII/SIIa/SIII which I should have enough here.

Does anyone know if the later ones will be long enough to do the job on an 80"?

    Hi Diana
I don't know the lengths but you could go to a bolt shop and buy a metre of threaded hi tensile bar, some washers and nuts. Wouldn't cost much and the bar chopped into 4 would be plenty long enough.

    Thanks for that suggestion Duncan,

I was hoping that someone with an 80" would be able to measure and even pop one of the special bolts for the SII/SIII into the hole on the 80" capping.

Prob a bit late but yes the longer hard top bolts on S2 and 3's fit the 80" landies cappings, I fitted a set to one last year, just need the larger diamater washer on top to hold the hard top on.
