    Series Landrover id needed?

Just came across these photo's I took in 2004 on Stockton beach near Newcastle. A storm had uncovered what looks to be a Series Landrover?
It was soon covered over again as we went back to the same spot a month or so later and it was gone (assumed covered). Surely only a Landrover body would survive a beach for many years
    What do you guys reckon?

Looking at those photos made me kind of sad.

Mind you, some of those bits look useful!

A few more shots from the surrounding area. Looks like an old fisho hut.

Most likely a stolen, stripped and dumped vehicle. The Hunter area was quite notorious from the mid 1970s for that - lock up your Land Rovers.
